2021 will go down as one of the most growth inducing and important years of my career.

The pandemic raised so many questions for myself as to what the future would hold for me in this industry. I leaned into the “glass-half-full” perspective and it paid off. For the first time I explored working on the brand side and was offered a position as Senior Art Director with one of the largest, most influential cosmetic brands in the world - Estée Lauder. More specifically their Aveda line.

Aveda has always been a very inspiring brand to me. Lead by Horst Rechelbacher, they became one of the most influential cosmetic brands, leading with a focus on all-natural products. The opportunity to tell stories in a new, important and limitless space was compelling and energizing.

The Aveda Holiday 2021 Campaign was one of my proudest accomplishments and I was so excited and proud to be a part of it. Holiday campaigns are always one of the most important for a brand and with this season being a collaboration with Phillip Lim the stakes were high. To be tasked to help ideate on this so early in my tenure was amazing, if not nerve-racking. I created the look and feel for the campaign, working with an amazing team, lead by VP of Creative Marney Kerr. The results speak for themselves.

While my stay at Aveda was not long the experience provided profound insights that I will take with me wherever I go.
